The area within the İnderesi Nature Park where the bunkers are located was once used for military purposes. The site contains 28 military depots built close together on a northeast-southwest axis and used for military purposes in their day. Each was built to a different plan type and to different dimensions. The basic plan scheme consists of a narrow, vault-covered arched entrance axis followed by the main chamber, reached through a further door and steps. The bunkers may be single-chambered, or three-chambered together with an intermediate space.
