Editor's Note
The Tahtalı Bath in the Battalgazi district, dated to the 19th century, was built on a north-south axis and has a cruciform plan with four iwans and corner privacy cells. The bath comprises sections such as a changing room, a warm room, a hot room, and the furnace and water tank. It is of great importance both for reflecting the cultural fabric within the neighborhood and for surviving to the present day in a more protected and sound state than similar examples.
