The mosque in the Gözene neighborhood was built in AH 1230 / AD 1815. The structure has a rectangular plan laid out widthwise and covers an area of 190 m2. It is roofed with a beamed wooden ceiling. Once an earth roof on the exterior, it was later covered with a wooden roof clad in Marseille-type tiles. On the north facade is a portico for latecomers, with a wooden ceiling resting on four wooden posts. The mosque's walls are built of rubble stone and mudbrick, plastered inside and out with mud render. The mosque has no minaret. One enters the prayer hall from the latecomers' portico through a doorway with a four-lobed arch.
