Editor's Note
The Duhan Han is a 16th-17th century Ottoman caravanserai located near Sarikonak (formerly Setek) village in the Bitlis province of Turkey, on the east bank of the Bitlis Water. Situated on the Bitlis-Tatvan-Van-Diyarbakir route, the building also stood at the junction where the road running to northern Iraq via Siirt met the Bitlis valley; in this way it served travelers using both the valley road and the Siirt route.
