The Church of the Virgin Mary lies on a flat shelf on the mountainside northeast of Akcali (Kusket) village in the Kozluk district of Batman province. Built east to west with a single nave and rectangular plan, it has a largely collapsed atrium and narthex to its west. The walls of the nave bear niches, an arrow-slit window, and cross motifs made by incising.
