Editor's Note
The Mereto Church is a small, east-west oriented structure located in the Sason district of Batman, on the 2,978-meter summit of Mount Mereto. Consisting of a narthex and a nave and understood to have been barrel-vaulted, the church was built of cut and rubble stone and bears cross motifs; today it is largely destroyed. [1]
