The Sheikh Bazid Shrine lies in the Sason district of Batman province, 5.5 km east of the Kayadibi (Purseng) hamlet of Orenagil (Versenge) village, at an altitude of 2,817 m on Sheikh Bazid Hill. The shrine area covers a small space built of rubble stone laid in dry masonry without mortar. Inside is a grave said to belong to Sheikh Bazid, with head and foot stones made of irregular stones. Local people say that Sheikh Bazid died and was buried here.
