Editor's Note

Arter is a contemporary art museum in the Dolapdere quarter of Istanbul. An institution of the Vehbi Koç Foundation, it opened in 2010 as an exhibition and production space in its building on İstiklâl Avenue. In September 2019 it moved to a new building in Dolapdere designed by Grimshaw Architects, becoming the first cultural-arts institution to open in that area. Alongside exhibitions, it hosts performances and events.
