Editor's Note
The Old Cemetery Area is located on plot 56 in Kültür Quarter. The graves are spread over an area of 1217 m². In the area, which was found to have been used as a burial ground during the Ottoman period and the early years of the Republic, simple grave forms outlined with rubble stones were observed. No inscription or decoration could be identified on the stones visible at the surface.
