Kurttepe Han lies near the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş, on a road that was heavily used in Roman and Seljuk times. Dated to the late 13th century, the caravanserai consists only of a covered section and has an unusual plan, notable for the rooms set on either side of the entrance. Today the building is in ruins; the roof of the central nave has collapsed, and the entrance and side rooms lie buried under earth. No decoration or inscription has been found on the structure.
