There is no inscription on the tomb giving its construction date or founder. Because of both the architectural and the plan similarities it shares with the Seyyit Şerif Tomb in Yukarı Develi, dated AH 695 / AD 1296, the building is dated to the last quarter of the 13th century. However, the gravestone of Seyyid İmadettin Muhammed, son of Mahmut of Khwarezm, which we mentioned above and which lies about fifteen meters northwest of the tomb, is dated AH...
