The Ali Rıza Efendi Fountain, located to the west of the Aşağı Develi Grand Mosque, was commissioned in 1904. Its inscription reads: "This is the charitable work of the virtuous Ali Rıza Efendi, one of those received in imperial audience and an esteemed member of the Council of Religious Inquiry. Year 1904." This inscription clearly establishes that the fountain's founder was Ali Rıza Efendi and states its construction date. The fountain has not survived in its original form. In the 1980s, after being struck by a passing truck, the four columns at its front and the upper covering they supported were completely destroyed.
