The Yenipınar Fountain was rebuilt in AH 1237 / AD 1822. Designed as a freestanding structure with a single arch, it forms a unified composition together with the water reservoir behind it. The round arch covering the fountain niche rests on the wall at the sides; the trough set within the niche channels water through an opened spout into a larger trough added later. The fountain has no mirror stone (ayna taşı) or platform; a piece of marble is set in the middle of the niche wall. The building, which has no notable decorative elements, was built of rough-hewn stone.
