In 1350, Taşkın Paşa had a monumental open-air prayer area (namazgâh) built at Damsa, alongside his mosque, madrasa, and tomb (kümbet). Unfortunately, a road has been driven straight through the middle of this historic prayer area. It is also thought that this site may have been a fountain.
