The location is uncertain. Kurt Erdmann did not visit this caravanserai. His notes read: "In 1842 (II, p. 295) Hamilton wrote as follows: 'A little further on, on the way from Karahisar (present-day Yeşilhisar) to Niğde, there was a ruined caravanserai built of large peperite blocks, together with a fountain. Many of these blocks had clearly been taken from older buildings, for a Doric dentil row had been carved into one of them.' This structure is thought to be identical with the "Zerst. Han" (ruined caravanserai) marked northeast of Misli on Kiepert's map. It may also be the caravanserai mentioned by Wrantschenko, though his travel report could not be located."
