Kuru Han, Afşin

Kuru Han (No. 49) lies on the route from Afsin to Hurman Castle, about 5 km north of the village of Tanis, in front of the village of Karakol Kale. The han consists of a single hall oriented to the northwest, made up of three naves, each covered by three transverse arched vaults 60 cm wide. The building was constructed with a double-shell rubble-filled wall technique; large roughly hewn stones were used on the facades and smaller stones in the vaults.
