Editor's Note
It is one of the important stations on the İzmir-Aydın railway, the first railway line in Anatolia. Because the Söke railway line branches off here, it serves as a junction station. The station building was constructed by the British Ottoman Railway Company, which built the line, and it entered service on 1 July 1866.
