The ruins of ancient Antioch of Pisidia lie about 1 km north-east of the town, with which it is closely associated as a rural tourism center. Its best-known landmark is the historic plane tree (Çınaraltı) in the town center, said to have been planted around 1200 and placed under protection in 1992, and the town marks the end point of the St Paul Trail long-distance route.
