Editor's Note
The tomb, which sits right in the middle of the now-disused cemetery, bears no inscription. However, a deed of endowment belonging to Sultan Hatun, daughter of Yusuf Şah Bey of the Turgutoğulları, states that she endowed the ruins at Zengicek and the entire village of Zalmanda to the Turgutoğlu Tomb. The tomb was built of cut stone and reused material. The upper part of its dome has collapsed, and the crypt section has largely filled in. The tomb is entered from the east, with the entrance to the crypt located just below it. The tomb has two small windows, one on the north and one on the south.
