The Yamaç Complex (külliye) was uncovered during 2004 excavations as a mosque-centred building group on the slope east of the Hasankeyf Lower Town. Most of the complex, which comprises a mosque, madrasa, lodge (zaviye) and bachelors' bath, has come down to us in ruins. The mosque, set on the topmost terraced level, consists of a rectangular courtyard and, to its south, a porticoed prayer hall in three sections. A hidden bathhouse was identified to the northeast of the courtyard.
