The Derikî Church is a small, simply planned structure built on the slope of the second valley southeast of Hasankeyf Castle. The church has a single-nave main chamber with a narthex and a single semicircular apse covered by a half-dome. At its entrance are two connected small rooms; the building was barrel-vaulted, but its roof and the upper parts of its walls have largely collapsed. Cut limestone and rubble stone were used in the walls, and the vault was covered on the outside with tiles.
