The Yolveren Village Rock Church stands at the centre of the village of Yolveren, within the bounds of central Batman. Carved into the bedrock, the church consists of a narthex, naos, bema and pastophorium. East of the rectangular naos lie a bema and a pastophorium chamber with rounded corners, and two side rooms flank the naos to the north and south. The church has suffered both natural and human-caused damage, with deterioration to the entrance opening on the west façade and to the arches.
