Editor's Note
Cisterns No. 1 and 2 of Yolveren Village lie 16.5 km southeast of central Batman, to the west of the village of Yolveren. Cistern No. 1, associated with rock-cut dwellings, has a mouth 0.80 m across and is 1.50 m deep. Cistern No. 2 could not be measured because its mouth is damaged; it is 1.20 m deep. Both cisterns are filled with earth and rubble stone, are no longer in use, and have lost their function.
