Editor's Note
This is the church known for the pool in its garden. It is believed that anyone who can drop a coin into the small hollow at the bottom of the pool will have their wish granted; but since this small spot is where water is fed into the pool, it is nearly impossible for those who do not know the trick. The collapsed western dome of this twin-domed church has been repaired through restoration. Frescoes survive in the niches of the half-domed apse section.
