Editor's Note
When the railway reached Konya in 1896, one of the groups of buildings needed around the station were the warehouses where exported and imported goods were stored. The Tantavi Warehouse was built in 1903 by Hafız Ragıp Efendi, son of the mufti of Nazilli, who had studied the Qur'an in the city of Tanta in Egypt. The historic building has been repurposed as an art gallery, and after lying idle it was returned to the life of the city in 2019. Source: www.arkiv.com.tr
