On the Konya-Derbent route, among lush green poplar trees, stands a historic caravanserai called Elikesik. Having lost its former splendor to the effects of time and nature, the Elikesik Han has been restored by the Regional Directorate of Foundations since 2007. Thus the caravanserai, largely renewed in recent years, has been re-erected in keeping with its original form. Although there is no inscription concerning the construction or patron of the Elikesik Han, it is estimated from its architectural character that the structure dates to the Anatolian Seljuk period.
