The Akalın Village Cemetery lies near Akalın village in the Hasankeyf district of Batman province, on a hill that commands the surrounding area. Alongside its orderly graves with Arabic inscriptions, the cemetery also contains uninscribed, undecorated graves made of irregular stones. The site has been largely damaged by both natural and human causes.
