Teams from the Adıyaman Museum Directorate received word of a historic structure in the countryside of the village of Taşkale, in the Sincik district, set in the mountainous area where Malatya meets Mount Nemrut. Visiting the site, the teams determined through their examination that the historic structure was a Seljuk-era caravan inn built with stone and vaulted arches and consisting of three separate sections. Mehmet Alkan, Director of the Adıyaman Museum, told an Anadolu Agency reporter that they had come to the area on the information they received and confirmed the identification of the inn.
