The entrance door of the Sıraçakıl Caravanserai, located within the Altunhisar district, is arched. The upper part of the entrance is decorated with a dentil motif. The interior has three naves; the central nave has a single vault. The columns separating the naves are monolithic and have voluted capitals. The Sıraçakıl Caravanserai stands on the Bor-Aksaray road, at the Eğreli junction, about 15 km from the village of Bayat in the Altınhisar district. Thought to have been built in the mid-13th century, the caravanserai has a plan with both an enclosed and an open courtyard (COC). Since it has no inscription or endowment deed, its patron and exact date of construction are unknown.
