St. Stephen's (Aya Stefanos) Church is a Greek Orthodox church built in Eğirdir in the mid-19th century during the Ottoman period. At that time Eğirdir was a multicultural settlement where different ethnic and religious groups lived side by side, and the Greek Orthodox community had a significant presence here. The materials and architectural style used in the church reflect the cultural and religious identity of that community.
