According to the inscription above its door, the mosque was built in 777 AH / 1376 CE by Çeşnigir Sinan Pasha. This indicates that the mosque was built six years before Isparta and its surroundings passed under Ottoman rule. Its side walls are masonry, its top is timber with an earthen flat roof, and its minaret, onion-shaped, is built of colored brick. On the gravestone of a person buried just inside the door, on the left, the inscription 'Hafız Tuti'i Karamani' and the date 794 AH / 1392 CE can be seen. The mosque was repaired in 1878 and its roof was given a tile covering.
