Editor's Note
It appears that the patron of the bath and the adjoining mosque was a man named Mehmed Kethüda. The building, which evidently survived the 1914 earthquake, was probably constructed in the 18th century. The bath, in use until recently, is now closed and is falling into ruin day by day.
