These are remains said to be located on the island of Kirse (Küçükkilis) in Lake Beyşehir, whose ruins survive today. [1] The remains on the island are thought to have been destroyed by the Byzantine army. [2] It is believed that these are the ruins encountered by Hirschfeld, who came to Beyşehir in 1878.
