The Seyde Nofte Church of the Virgin Mary is located in the rocky area north of the Deyrulzafaran Monastery, east of the Eskikale (Qelit Mera) neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin province, and just south of the Mor Behnam Rock Monastery. Surrounded by an enclosure wall, the church has a floor carved into the rock, while its upper storey was built using cut stone, smoothly dressed cut stone and rubble stone. The ground floor of the church, which is largely destroyed and today derelict, is entered through openings on the north and east.
