The Sheikh Şaran Mosque is located in the Savur Kapı neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin province. According to the Mufti's Office sign, the mosque was built in 1715, constructed of cut stone using masonry. The prayer hall of this rectangular-plan mosque is entered through an opening on the east. The entrance doorway is set within an arched niche with "S" and "C" scrolls and has a semicircular form. With engaged columns on either side, the entrance bears an Arabic inscription on its pediment. The mihrab is on the south side of the rectangular prayer hall, which runs east to west.
