The 109 Mertler Street Abbara lies in the Ulu Camii neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin Province. Built in masonry technique, the structure uses cut stone. Running north-south, the abbara (covered passageway) has a rectangular plan. Owing to the slope, its height and width vary. With a length of 8.75 m, the abbara has an average height of 2.95 m and a width of 2.90 m. With pointed-arched entrances, it is covered by a barrel vault.
