The 21st Street Abbara lies in the Yeni Kapi neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin Province. Built in masonry technique, the structure uses cut stone. Running north-south, the abbara (covered passageway) has a rectangular plan. The structure connects spaces and streets to one another. Owing to the slope, its height and width vary. With a length of 7.50 m, the abbara has an average height of 3.06 m and a width of 2.52 m. With pointed-arched entrances, it is covered by a cross vault.
