The Protestant Church lies in the Latifiye neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin Province. Built in 1904, the church was made in masonry technique using cut stone, finely cut stone and rubble stone. In Protestant churches, which have no distinctive architecture, the important element is having a space in which to perform religious worship. This understanding is reflected in the structure of the Mardin Protestant Church as well. Set on a rectangular plan, the church shows an L-shaped layout. It has two entrances, on the east and west sides, which are round-arched and rectangular in form.
