The Abbara at 213 Meydan Street lies in the Cabuk neighbourhood of the Artuklu district of Mardin Province. Built in masonry technique, the structure uses cut stone. Running north-south, the abbara (covered passageway) has a rectangular plan. Owing to the slope, its height and width vary. With a length of 11.70 m, the abbara has an average height of 2.25 m and a width of 1.75 m. With pointed-arched entrances, it is covered by a barrel vault. As a result of restoration work, the vault surfaces were painted. The paint shows flaking, darkening and dampness.
