The Çukuryurt Village Church stands in the old Syriac quarter of Çukuryurt village, in the Gercüş district of Batman Province. Rectangular in plan, single-naved and barrel-vaulted, the church measures roughly 20 x 10 m, with the apse raised a few steps higher. The apse opens through a round-arched bay, and there are small slit windows in the north and south walls. Today the church is used as a barn and storehouse.
