The Cemil Karahan House is located on 311th Street in the Küçükpınar neighborhood of the Derik district, 78 km west of Mardin province. It is positioned along an east–west axis on a sloping, quadrilateral plot. Single-story with an iwan, it was built using the rubble-fill masonry technique with cut and finely cut stone. The house is entered through a metal door with a lintel on the east facade. On the west facade is a pointed-arch iwan. The facade features lintelled window openings set within pointed-arch niches. To the south of the building are graves belonging to the Karahan family.
