Aytemiz Konağı

Editor's Note

It is not known for certain who built the Aytemiz Mansion or when. However, owing to its architectural and structural features, it is considered a Late Ottoman-period residence. The building consists of a ground floor plus three upper floors, along with a bathhouse. The house has a central-hall plan; placed on the north of the plot, it opens onto the courtyard on its south facade. In its construction, three stories were raised on a stone foundation, with a wooden tie-beam placed between every four courses of stone.
