Editor's Note
Sitting on a sloping plot just outside the village of Sumakli, the church appears to have a basilical plan and to have been built of rough-hewn stone. In the damage assessment carried out after the February 6 earthquakes, the structure, designated AN-7, was classified as "partially / completely collapsed."
