The mansion, located on a small hill at the entrance of the village of Harkaçtığı (Dikirli), is known to have been built by Tevfik Ağa (of the Karamüftüoğulları family) in the 1830s. Built on a plot of five dönüms, the mansion passed to his son Hacı Ahmet Karamüftüoğlu after Tevfik Ağa's death.
