Editor's Note
It is dated to the 4th–5th century. One or two kilometers to its east are quarries from the Roman period. There are Syriac and Armenian inscriptions on the church walls. Built entirely of neatly dressed stone, the church has a single-space, side-chambered plan and sits on a rectangular area. Entry is provided through a door opened on the west façade. The church, occupying a rectangular area roughly 15.70 × 10.60 m on the exterior, is entered into its naos through the door on the west side. Nothing remains today of the building's west façade.
