Editor's Note
The Küçük Mosque (Little Mosque) was built in 1530, during the reign of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent, with the contributions of a teacher named Yusuf bin Abdullah. Although the mosque suffered damage over time from fires and other disasters, it was later restored. During these restoration works, an inscription that had once been removed from the mosque and set into the wall of the nearby Çamurdan Mansion was returned to its original place inside the mosque.
