Editor's Note
This rock inscription on a rocky outcrop lies south of the road between Ulukışla and Çiftehan, near the village of Madenköy (also known as Bolkar Maden or Bulgarmaden) in Adana. It is about 20 km northwest of the Cilician Gates (the Gülek Pass crossing the Taurus Mountains) and about 30 km east of İvriz. Written in Luwian hieroglyphs and covering an area 1.5 m long and 1.3 m high, the inscription lies about 400 m up the slope from the road. Its author refers to Warpalawa, king of Tuwana (see).
