Editor's Note
The area within the bounds of Karaağaç Village, in the Ayrancı district of Karaman Province, is a registered archaeological settlement. During surface observations carried out there, pottery finds datable to the Iron Age, Hellenistic, Roman and medieval periods were identified, along with traces of various architectural remains. These findings show that the settlement was inhabited in different historical periods and had a long span of use.
