Editor's Note
The bridge was built of rubble stone, with neatly dressed cut stone used at the arch opening. It is a single-arched bridge. The Batal Bridge was built in 1936, at the age of 33, by Ömer Güdekoğlu, a stonemason and one of the village's former muhtars (headmen), as a charitable work of his own.
