Editor's Note

Estimated from its architectural elements and construction technique to date to the 19th century, the mansion has an L-shaped plan, a corner iwan, and two stories. It consists of two sections, with a narrow corridor leading from the first to the second. Each section has its own courtyard. On the facade facing the street there is a wooden bay window. In the harem section, the ground floor holds a kitchen, a stable, and a cellar. In 2006-2007 the mansion was restored with funding from the EU Europe-Turkey Commission Delegation and the Gaziantep Governorate Provincial Special Administration Directorate.
